Tuk Tuk

Hi guys! I hope you're all doing splendid!
Before these photographs disappear into the abyss that is my hard drive real soon, this is a look I wore a few weeks ago. It's nothing out of the ordinary and you're more than likely to find me wearing a variation of it over the weekends but these pieces are definitely my favourite items.

The Montague

Jumuah Mubarak and happy Friday everyone! Is anyone else feeling like we're currently speeding towards 2015? I'm not ready to see this year go, only because I'll be returning to work in early January. I'm mentally preparing myself for it already as being away from my little girl is going to be rough! But you gotta do, what you gotta do!

Eid Al Adha 2014

Eid Mubarak to all those who celebrated the day over the weekend. I trust you had a blessed affair with your loved ones whilst remembering the significance of the day. As my husband's family celebrated Eid on Saturday and mine on Sunday, the celebration was not as manic when compared to Eid Al Fitr. Also, two days of Eid equates two Eid lunches! Now that, I've got time for!

Double Denim Days

Jumuah Mubarak and Happy Friday Lovelies! Clearly I'm still loving being able to wear jeans after a 9 month hiatus. While pregnant, I couldn't wait to be wearing a lot of my tops once I had given birth. And now that I have, surprise! I still can't wear most of them just yet. Hello, exclusive breastfeeding and feeding on demand. For this reason, button down shirts have been my main go-to.

My first blog post as a Mom. A Mother. A Mommy. A Parent. Those have got to be the weightiest words in the dictionary. I won’t ramble on about it too much but in July, we were blessed with the sweetest little girl, Alhamdulillah. In these past two months, I have become more appreciative for all that we've been blessed with, even the smallest of things. From the support of my husband and family to being able to stay at home for a few months to look after our daughter.
